Not everyone has the fortune of having a good start in life. Your childhood doesn’t define you. Even if you haven’t had a good role model at a young age, you can always look to become one yourself. Focus on your own personal strengths and on what makes YOU happy. Learn from your failures as well as your successes. Surround yourself with people who will motivate you, not ones who will try to discourage you at every step. Finally, focus on what’s happening in the now. Improve your current situation, hold on to your values in the present day and that will make tomorrow much easier. Personal and professional successes are dependent on your own values, so as long as you uphold these and follow your beliefs, you will succeed.
