David Richman on Having the Hard Conversations and Connecting Through Trauma

As human beings, we all have different interests, paths, and stories, but the one thing that binds us all is our emotions.

How can we move past the collective mental block that stops us from having more meaningful conversations with our loved ones?

How can we foster more heart-centered interactions, so we can learn from our pain, instead of keeping it all in?

In this episode, the author of Cycle of Lives, David Richman shares the biggest lessons he learned while documenting the lives of 15 people affected by cancer.

Once you understand and identify with someone, you’re able to apply their perspectives and thought processes to yourself. -David Richman
