Many of you know how prolifically we’ve written about Metformin over the last 3 years. If you haven’t read the following articles (Life Extension in a Bottle, Metformin and Life Extension: What You Should Know, Longer Life in a Bottle), what are you waiting for? To quickly sum it up, Metformin is fantastic as a life extending supplement. It’s so good in fact, newer research continues to hit the market forcing me to write additional articles. Nearly any effective prescription medication will have some negative sides, but Metformin is a drug with only minimal ones; the most common being diarrhea or nausea. Often these relatively mild issues can be reduced or eliminated through reducing the dosage or changing to an extended-release form of the medication. In fact using Metformin will also improve gut biome health as it has the tendency to force people to eat cleaner so they Metformin is now being studied for the following applications:
- Brain Cell Regeneration
- Lowering of LDL Cholesterol
- Anti-Sclerotic (improving vascular functioning)
Obviously if you’re following long, it might be time for you to start using Metformin yourself. If your general practitioner won’t prescribe it for you, please consult with our fine friends at CHEKD. If you have further questions, please send me an email email@example.com.
